How much does Greg charge for a show?
The exact fee for a show depends on several factors: the address of the venue (the closer your chosen venue is to downtown Evanston, the cheaper the cost will be), the length you would like the show to be, and the number of people you estimate will be attending your event.
How long is Greg’s show?
The client’s needs determine how long the show should be. Greg offers shows from as short as 20 minutes to as long as 50 minutes, and any length in-between that you desire! Just keep in mind that the longer the show, the higher the fee.
What kind of magic does Greg do?
While many magicians perform only card tricks, Greg uses cards PLUS a wide variety of other colorful props, such as silks, hats, ropes and more! And ALL of Greg’s magic is friendly and funny – no dark macabre “goth” magic (there’s nothing wrong with spooky magic, it’s just not Greg’s style.)
Is there a minimum or maximum number of people Greg performs for?
Greg performs intimate home dinner party shows for as few as six people. And, since Greg’s specialty is “Parlor Magic” (using small-to-mid-sized props, NOT big “sawing-in-half-type” illusions) the maximum number of folks he generally performs for at one time is around sixty.
Does Greg perform at outdoor events?
Sorry, no. The show must take place indoors.
Does Greg perform at children’s parties?
Again, sorry, but no. However, Greg does perform at events where there is a mix of both adults and children in the audience.
Why is there no video of Greg’s magic on this website?
A huge part of magic is the element of surprise, and video would spoil those surprises. Also, unlike most magicians, Greg’s presentations are entirely ORIGINAL, and video would make it easy for unethical performers to copy Greg’s material.
